Prosciutto & Ricotta Crostini with Balsamic Glaze is an elegant yet simple appetizer combines the creamy richness of ricotta cheese with the savory, salty notes of prosciutto, all atop a crispy slice of toasted bread, and drizzled with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze.
These delectable appetizers are a crowd-pleaser that’s easy to prepare. They can be made in advance and kept in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve. Just drizzle on the balsamic right before you put them out.

Helpful Tips
- Choose Quality Ingredients: The flavor of your crostini hinges on the quality of your ingredients. Opt for fresh, high-quality prosciutto and creamy ricotta cheese. Additionally, selecting a good baguette or artisan bread will provide the perfect base for your crostini.
- Toast the Bread Just Right: For the best crostini, slice your bread into even pieces and toast them until they are golden brown and crispy. This ensures they hold up well under the toppings and adds a delightful crunch. You can brush the slices with olive oil before toasting for extra flavor.
- Balance Flavors with Balsamic Glaze: The balsamic glaze adds a sweet and tangy contrast to the rich prosciutto and ricotta. When drizzling, aim for a light touch to enhance the dish without overpowering it. You can make your own glaze by reducing balsamic vinegar on the stovetop or purchase a pre-made version for convenience.
