Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons (42 g) butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon (2 g) herbs chopped or dried (try parsley, basil, chives)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.75 g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 white cabbage cut into 4 wedges
  • 1/4 cup (15 g) Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) EACH salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F(220°C).
  • Cut the cabbage in half, then into 3 or 4 wedges each, keeping the core intact.
  • Mix the softened butter with the herbs and garlic powder. Brush about 2/3 of it on all sides of the cabbage. Place the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until charred on the outside and still slightly crispy. Flip it once during cooking.
  • While the cabbage is roasting, melt the remaining butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Toast, stirring occasionally, until the breadcrumbs are lightly toasted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan.
  • When the cabbage is done, transfer it to a serving platter and top with the breadcrumbs.
