Helpful Tips

  • Make Your Own Wonton Strips: For an extra touch of freshness and flavor, consider making your own wonton strips. Simply cut wonton wrappers into thin strips, lightly brush them with oil, and bake them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Customize the Vegetables: Feel free to customize the salad with your favorite vegetables or whatever you have on hand. Ingredients like radishes or snap peas can add different textures and flavors to the salad. The key is to include a mix of colors and crunch to keep it vibrant and appealing.
  • Prep Ahead: To save time during meal prep, you can wash and chop the salad ingredients in advance. Store them in airtight containers in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. Just make sure to add the dressing and wonton strips right before serving to maintain their crispness and prevent the salad from becoming soggy.
