These mouthwatering cauliflower wings are a great alternative to chicken wings without the meat, making them your next must-try dish. When you find out how easy these are to make you will want to try this bbq version for a smoky and savory twist.
Helpful Tips
- If the sauce is too spicy for you, add more honey. The extra sweetness will help balance out the heat.
- If you don’t have chili garlic sauce, you can use Thai sweet chili sauce instead. Since the Thai sauce is already sweet, you may need to reduce the honey or leave it out altogether.
- Lightly spray the cauliflower pieces with cooking oil to help them crisp up while air frying.
- For the best results, toss the cauliflower in sweet chili sauce just before serving to keep them crispy.
Oven Directions
Don’t have an air fryer? No problem!
Follow steps 1-4 below. Then preheat your oven to 400° F(205°C).
Place the cauliflower pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
While the cauliflower is cooking, make the sauce. Mix the chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, fresh ginger, and honey in a large bowl and mix well.
When the cauliflower is done remove it from the oven and dump it all into the bowl with the sauce. Toss or stir it up to get all the pieces coated.
Top with sesame seeds and green onions and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
