Crock Pot Butter Chicken is one of those meals that feels like you ordered takeout, but it’s all made right at home. The sauce is rich, creamy, and full of warm spices, and the slow cooker makes it incredibly easy to pull together. It’s the kind of dinner you can start earlier in the day and look forward to later.

What makes this recipe stand out is how simple it is without sacrificing flavor. The chicken turns tender as it cooks in the spiced tomato sauce, and a splash of cream at the end brings everything together. Serve it with rice and naan, and you’ve got a meal that feels complete.
Helpful Tips
- Cut the chicken into evenly sized pieces so it cooks consistently.
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to control the heat level.
- For an even richer sauce, let it sit for a few minutes after adding the cream before serving.
