Jalapeno popper puff pastry sticks

This is a fun appetizer or game-day snack you can make with just a few ingredients. The cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and jalapeños create the ultimate savory combo, and the puff pastry gives it that buttery crunch. You can serve them with ranch, but they’re also great on their own.

Helpful Tips

  • Roll it thin: Rolling the puff pastry to about 1/4″ thick gives you the right ratio of filling to pastry and ensures even baking.
  • Seal it well: Press the pastry halves together firmly before slicing so the filling stays inside while twisting.
  • Rotate the pan: Halfway through baking, turn the baking sheet to get even browning on all sides.

  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 6 strips bacon cooked and chopped
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar grated
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Ranch dressing for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Dust lightly with flour.
