- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
- 3 jalapeño peppers thinly sliced
- 6 ounces cream cheese softened
- 6 strips bacon cooked and chopped
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar grated
- 1 egg beaten
- Ranch dressing for serving
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Dust lightly with flour.
Unroll the puff pastry sheet and roll it out to about 1/4” thick.
Spread the softened cream cheese over half of the puff pastry sheet, then add on the jalapeno slices, half of the cheese, and the bacon.
Fold the other half over the top and press together to sandwich it together firmly.
Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice it into 1/2” thick strips. Twist each strip and place them spaced out on the baking sheet.
Brush them each with the beaten egg, then sprinkle on the remaining cheddar.
Place the sheet on the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 18 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until golden brown.
Serve with Ranch dressing or another dipping sauce of your choice.
