A Zesty Tex-Mex Salad is your ticket to bold, fresh flavors in every bite. Packed with crisp greens, vibrant veggies, and zippy toppings like avocado, black beans, and a tangy lime dressing, this salad is anything but ordinary. Whether you’re serving it as a side dish or making it the star of the meal, it’s sure to bring a festive flair to your table.

You can easily turn this salad into the star of your dinner by adding a protein like grilled shrimp, shredded chicken, or leftover steak. If you’d rather serve it as a side, it pairs perfectly with these delicious baked chicken chimichangas for a well-rounded meal.
Helpful Tips
- Choose the right greens: Romaine or a mix of spring greens and spinach provide the perfect balance of crunch and tenderness for this salad.
- Amp up the flavor: Add roasted corn or grilled peppers for a smoky, charred twist that enhances the Tex-Mex vibe.
- Customize your spice level: Adjust the heat in the dressing or toppings with jalapeños, chili powder, or a dash of hot sauce to suit your taste preferences.
