The combination of savory meatballs and sweet pineapple works really well together. Using frozen meatballs keeps prep easy, while the sweet and sour sauce adds a glossy finish and bold flavor. Once they’re skewered together, they look great on a platter and are easy for guests to grab.

Helpful Tips

  • Warm the sauce before serving. Heating the sweet and sour sauce helps it coat the meatballs and pineapple evenly.
  • Use fresh pineapple if you can. It adds a brighter flavor and a firmer texture that holds up well on skewers.
  • Secure with sturdy picks. Toothpicks or short appetizer skewers make these easy to serve and eat.
