If you’re looking for a cookie that’s as cute as it is tasty, this is it. The green sugar coating gives them a bright pop of color on any cookie tray, buttery texture is incredibly satisfying. These cookies are a guaranteed hit for cookie exchanges, holiday parties, or just a cozy movie night with The Grinch.
Helpful Tips
- Chill the dough thoroughly: This is key to getting the right texture and preventing the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
- Press them down slightly: Press the cookies down with the bottom of a drinking glass to help them spread out.
- Press the heart candy gently: Add it right after baking while the cookies are soft, but don’t push too hard or they might crack.
