No-Bake Cherry Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (114 g) unsalted butter melted, 1 stick
- 2 1/2 cups (210 g) graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
- 16 ounces (454 g) cream cheese softened
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) pure vanilla extract
- 16 ounces (454 g) Cool Whip
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar until well combined. Press it firmly into the bottom of a 9”x13” dish.
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Fold in the Cool Whip. Then spread the mixture over the graham cracker crust in the dish.
- Carefully spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, being careful not to mix the layers together.
- Cover and chill for at least 2 hours (longer is better).
