These Instant Pot take all the guesswork out of getting perfectly juicy pork chops on the table. This entire meal comes together in well under 30 minutes, making it an ideal option for those nights when you need dinner on the table fast. Serve it over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, and you have a complete, satisfying meal the whole family will love.
Helpful Tips
- Do not skip the sear: Browning the pork chops before pressure cooking builds deep flavor and gives you that golden crust, so resist the urge to skip straight to pressure cooking.
- Deglaze thoroughly: Scraping up all those browned bits from the bottom of the pot after searing not only prevents a burn notice but also packs extra flavor into your sauce.
- Whisk the sauce continuously: Adding the milk to the flour and seasoning mixture while whisking constantly helps you avoid lumps and gives you a smooth, silky ranch sauce.

- 4 boneless pork chops 1″ thick
- 3 teaspoons dry ranch seasoning divided
- 3 tablespoons butter divided
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3/4 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Rub the pork chops with 2 teaspoons of the ranch seasoning mix.
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. When hot, add 1 tablespoon of the butter and, once melted, add the pork chops to the pot, 2 at a time, and sear on each side, about 2 minutes per side.
- Remove the pork chops from the pot.
- Pour in the water and deglaze the bottom of the pot to remove the browned bits.
- Place the pork chops back into the water in the pot. Close the lid and set the vent to sealing, if necessary.

- Remove the pork from the pot and pour out the water.
- Turn the Instant Pot onto sauté mode again. When hot, add the remaining butter. When melted, add the flour and remaining teaspoon of ranch seasoning. Whisk to combine. Cook for 1 minute. Turn off sauté mode.
- Pour in the milk. Whisk until thickened.
- Serve the pork chops with the creamy ranch sauce.
