- 1 cup cooked turkey shredded
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 3 tablespoon water
- 1/2 bag tortilla chips
- 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 can black beans or pinto beans drained and rinsed
- Optional toppings jalapenos, avocados, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, tomatoes
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the turkey, taco seasoning and water in a pan over medium heat and cook until hot.
Spread chips evenly on the baking sheet.
Spread half the cheese over the chips. Then spread on the turkey and beans. Then top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 8 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven.
Add any of the additional toppings you like and serve hot.
- For evenly melted cheese, layer half of your cheese on the chips first, add your toppings, and then sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top before baking.
- To avoid soggy nachos, add wet toppings like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream only after baking. This keeps everything fresh and crunchy.
