- 12 ounces cocktail sausages or little smokies
- 1 package refrigerated crescent dough 8 oz
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon water
- sesame seeds for garnish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove crescent rolls from the package and separate them into 8 triangles. Use a sharp knife or pizza wheel to cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles, for 24 pieces.
Place a sausage on the wide end. Then starting at the wide end, roll the dough. Place them on the baking sheet.
Beat the egg in a small bowl. Brush it onto the tops of the rolls.
Sprinkle the tops with sesame seeds.
Bake until the dough is puffed and golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Serve warm with mustard, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce.
