- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces ziti pasta dry
- 1 cup marinara
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella shredded
- Parmesan cheese and chopped basil for garnish
Combine chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, salt and pepper in the Instant Pot. Pour in the ziti and push it down into the liquid (don’t stir).
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and seal the vent. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
When done, allow steam to release naturally for 5 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure.
Turn off the Instant Pot and open the lid.
Stir in the marinara, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The pasta will thicken as it cools. Top with more mozzarella cheese and chopped basil.
