Garlic Butter Baked Brie

This Garlic Butter Baked Brie is warm and melty, and turns into the ultimate centerpiece for any appetizer spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic freshly pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • Prepared crostini for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cross hatch the top of your brie and place it in an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Melt the butter and add the garlic. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the butter over the top of the brie. Place it in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Until it's gooey in the middle.
  • Garnish with thyme. Serve hot with crostini or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • For our recipe, we use an 8-ounce wheel, but if you're serving more than like 6-8 people, you might want to get a 12-ounce wheel.
  • Double cream brie has a slightly firmer texture and is ideal for baking because it holds its shape better while still becoming gooey. Triple cream is richer and creamier but can be more challenging to handle when melted.
  • President, Marin French, or Trader Joe’s options are reliable and widely available.
