Burrata with Cranberries & Pistachios

Creamy, luscious burrata meets the sweet-tart flavors of cranberries, the crunch of pistachios, and a hint of citrus brightness. Paired with toasted baguette slices, burrata with cranberries and pistachios feels like a celebration.

Ingredients

  • 4 small fresh burrata balls or 1 large ball
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 orange zested
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons pistachios chopped
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 1 baguette sliced and toasted

Instructions

  • Pour the cranberry sauce into a bowl. Add the orange juice and zest. Stir well.
  • Place your balls of Burrata on a serving platter or cheese board.
  • Spoon the cranberry sauce around the cheese and sprinkle on the pistachios.
  • Season with flake salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Serve with toasted baguette slices.

Notes

  • Let the burrata come to room temperature before serving for maximum creaminess.
  • If you have time, make a homemade cranberry sauce with fresh or frozen cranberries for a more vibrant flavor. If you can only use canned, be sure to add orange juice and zest. It really punches up the flavor.
  • Swap pistachios for toasted pecans or walnuts if you prefer.
