Ingredients

  • 10 ounces peas fresh or frozen
  • 3 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons red onion finely diced

For the dressing:

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon EACH salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, white vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Whisking until fully combined. Taste and adjust seasoning, as needed.
  • Add the peas, bacon, red onion, and cheddar to the bowl. Using a large spoon or spatula, fold everything together gently until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
