Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk divided
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces caramel topping
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 13 ounces whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, half the sweetened condensed milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour batter into a greased slow cooker insert. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Poke holes all over the top of the cake with the handle of a spoon.
  • Mix the remaining condensed milk with 3/4 of the caramel topping; pour over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
  • Refrigerate until chilled.
  • Cut into 12 slices. Top each with whipped cream, remaining caramel topping, and toffee bits.
