Ingredients

  • 1 ounce fresh basil leaves
  • 1 ounce Parmesan or Pecorino Romano cheese crumbled or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts toasted for extra flavor
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and puree for 30 seconds.
  • Stop to stir and push leaves down. Blend for an additional 15 seconds.
  • Add to pasta or food as desired.
