Cherry Crescent Roll Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling 21 ounce
  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent dough 8 oz each
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F(190°C). Grease the cups of two muffin tins.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and set the individual pieces into the tin cups, with the ends hanging outside of the cups. This makes 16 pieces.
  • Evenly divide the pie filling among the cups.
  • Pulling up on the dough ends, fold them over the filling, overlapping them over the top.
  • Bake for 13-14 minutes, until golden and crisp on top.
  • Remove from oven and let rest for about 5 minutes. Remove from the tin to serve.
  • In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Drizzle the icing over the top of the pies.
