Sweet cherry pie filling gets baked under a layer of Devil’s Food cake mix and melted butter for a warm, fudgy dessert that tastes even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling 21 ounce each
  • 1 bow Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for topping, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F(175°C). Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish.
  • Spread the cherry pie filling out evenly into the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the cherry filling. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 1 hour. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
