- 4 tablespoons butter softened, divided
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 1 cabbage sweetheart, hispi. or green cabbage
- 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the cabbage into 6 wedges.
Mix 3 tablespoons of the softened butter with the miso paste and brush it all over the cabbage wedges. Reserve about a tablespoon of the mixture to brush on at the end. Place the cabbage wedges on the baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes, until lightly charred on the outside.
Meanwhile, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in a pan. Add the breadcrumbs and garlic powder. Toast until golden, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Remove from the pan and set aside.
When the cabbage is done, brush the remaining butter mixture over the wedges.
Sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and chopped parsley.
