Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter softened, divided
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 cabbage sweetheart, hispi. or green cabbage
  • 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cabbage into 6 wedges.
  • Mix 3 tablespoons of the softened butter with the miso paste and brush it all over the cabbage wedges. Reserve about a tablespoon of the mixture to brush on at the end. Place the cabbage wedges on the baking sheet and roast for 30-35 minutes, until lightly charred on the outside.
  • Meanwhile, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in a pan. Add the breadcrumbs and garlic powder. Toast until golden, stirring continuously to avoid burning. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • When the cabbage is done, brush the remaining butter mixture over the wedges.
  • Sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and chopped parsley.
