- 4 medium chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices tomato
- fresh basil, balsamic glaze for garnish
Mix together the seasonings. Season each chicken breast on both sides.
Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, spaced out (you might have to cook them in batches if your air fryer isn’t big enough).
Cook at 380°F for 8 minutes.
Place a slice of mozzarella and a slice of tomato on top of the chicken. Cook 5 more minutes, until the cheese has melted and the chicken reaches 165°F(75°C) internal temperature.
Serve with fresh basil and balsamic glaze.
